FAST Logistics Hub Cebu Now Certified in Four International Standards

FAST Logistics Hub Cebu has passed new certification audits, achieving compliance with four international standards that underscore the company’s strong commitment to excellence and quality in end-to-end logistics and supply chain management.

Located in Tayud, Cebu, the logistics hub houses FAST’s ColdChain facility and warehouses for clients such as JWS Logistics, Personal Collection, and Kenvue.

These facilities have completed rigorous audits for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS), and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational, Health and Safety (OHS) Management System conducted by SGS Philippines Inc. from September 23 to 27.

FAST’s Coldchain and JWSL Warehousing Operations in Cebu received the FSSC 22000 Food Safety System Certification in November 2023. This certification encompasses ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and GHP standards which ensure the highest levels of food safety and quality management throughout the supply chain.

With this new achievement, FAST Logistics Hub Cebu is now compliant with four international standards, assuring clients, partners, and stakeholders that it can consistently meet their needs and expectations through an effective Integrated Management System.

The team’s unwavering commitment and expertise were pivotal in achieving these certifications, reflecting their professionalism and collaborative spirit that propel the company forward.

The project is spearheaded by Aron Christian Y. Javier (VP, Warehousing Operations), Marc Anthony D. Dizon (AVP, ColdChain Operations), Marvis T. Marfil (AVP, Operations D5&6), Marishabel Z. Bonquin (ColdChain Operations), Merliza V. Canada (JWSL Operations), and Marcel C. Eso (Operations D5&6).

Supporting them is the Project Team, which includes Corazon M. Castillo (QA), Wilson S. Magno (EHS), Jerome S. Magcamit (FSQMS), Roel Cavin A. Nunez (QMS), and Jimarlyn B. Nacion (FSMS).

Also involved is the Operations Project Team consisting of Engr. John Ernest S. Fortin (EMD), Cherie Mae A. Monasque and Rhea B. Gallito (JWSL Operations), Noel U. Mergal (ColdChain Operations), Shirley B. Bugtai (JNTL Operations), Riza L. Nepangue and Daisy C. Inot (PC Operations), among other dedicated members of the joint FSHEQ Committee Team.

• FSC JFC Calamba Site: Certified with ISO 9001:2015 QMS
• Nestlé GMA DC and South DC: Certified with ISO 9001:2015 QMS, ISO 14001:2015 EMS, and ISO 45001:2018 OHS
