FAST Logistics Group, the country’s leading end-to-end logistics company, has pledged its full support for the establishment of the Supply Chain and Logistics Center (SCLC), an initiative designed to make logistics solutions more accessible to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
A project of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Supply Chain and Logistics Group, the SCLC will serve as a central hub for businesses to access vital information and connect with service providers for freight inquiries, service referrals, and regulatory guidance, among other concerns.
FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel L. Onrejas Jr. signed the Pledge of Support for the SCLC at the DTI Office on Wednesday, June 18, emphasizing that the support center aligns closely with FAST’s mission of empowering businesses of all sizes through reliable, cost-effective, and innovative logistics solutions.

He recognized that the SCLC aims to streamline logistics processes, reduce transaction costs, and enhance market access for businesses.
“We believe that the Supply Chain and Logistics Center is more than just a facility,” Manny said. “Rather, it is a powerful enabler that brings logistics solutions closer to where they are most needed. It empowers local enterprises to reach more customers, grow their businesses, and uplift their communities.”
Manny also affirmed FAST’s commitment to collaborating with the DTI on the operationalization of the SCLC, particularly in identifying the most relevant information and support that MSMEs need. He emphasized that local businesses can thrive when they have access to logistics solutions tailored to their requirements.

Expanding Service Coverage for MSMEs
He further shared that FAST is expanding its service coverage in high-growth areas to better support MSMEs and ensure they can access the same world-class logistics solutions that FAST provides to multinational companies and Filipino conglomerates.
FAST has recently opened full-service outlets in major Bicol provinces, such as Legazpi in Bicol, Naga in Camarines Sur, and Sorsogon City in Sorsogon to serve MSMEs. The company also launched a Logistics Support Kiosk in Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya where MSMEs in the area and nearby municipalities can drop off their products to be picked up and delivered by FAST trucks to Manila and other urban centers.

“We recognize that MSMEs are the engines of growth of our economy,” Manny said. “We stand united with the DTI in creating a logistics ecosystem that enables Filipino businesses to maximize every opportunity to earn more.”
He also noted that this is not the first time FAST has partnered with the DTI and expressed the company’s commitment to supporting future initiatives that align with FAST’s mission, vision, and capabilities, contributing to stronger local economies and nation-building.
Manny said: “We remain steadfast in our promise, that is, to deliver logistics solutions that serve the nation and empower Filipino businesses — logistics para sa bayan!”
With over 50 years of industry leadership, FAST continues to set the standard in end-to-end logistics and supply chain management in the Philippines. We take pride in our innovative solutions and a dedicated team that works tirelessly to optimize supply chain operations.
