FAST Logistics Group, the leading end-to-end logistics solutions provider in the Philippines, participated in the Luncheon Meeting on the Presentation of the National Warehouse Study held on Thursday, October 16, at The Mega Tower in Mandaluyong City.

The session served as a venue for collaboration among public and private organizations to identify actionable strategies that maximize the outcomes of the National Warehouse Study, an important step toward enhancing logistics efficiency and infrastructure nationwide.

The event was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry – Supply Chain and Logistics Group (DTI-SCLG) in partnership with PRIME Philippines and the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP). It gathered industry leaders from the Philippine logistics sector, particularly those involved in warehousing.

Representing FAST was Marc Anthony Dizon, Business Unit Head for ColdChain Solutions. Marc is also a member of the Supply Chain and Logistics Guild, a network of logistics professionals providing pro bono guidance to micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Advancing Supply Chain Competitiveness

As a key partner of DTI-SCLG, FAST supports initiatives that strengthen logistics resilience, promote inclusive growth, and enhance the competitiveness of the Philippine supply chain.

FAST operates the Philippines’ largest warehouse footprint, with over two million square meters of warehouse space, one billion annual case throughput, 900,000 ambient pallet positions, and 30,000 cold storage pallet positions—a scale that underscores its commitment to driving efficiency and connectivity across industries nationwide.

FAST is the sole implementer of Honeywell’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) in the Philippines. This sophisticated software solution enables businesses to enhance operational efficiency by directly managing inventory, order processing, and shipping.

Apart from FAST, representatives from both government and private sectors, including the Office of Civil Defense, Department of Agriculture, Board of Investments, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and industry leaders from FMCG, and the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry attended the luncheon meeting.

Earlier this year, DTI-SCLG commissioned PRIME Philippines to conduct a comprehensive study of warehouse facilities across selected cities and municipalities nationwide.

The study gathered critical data on warehouse locations, capacities, and utilization, which will form the foundation for developing a National Warehouse Registry, a centralized database designed to guide policy formulation and investment decisions in the logistics sector.

The National Warehouse Registry aims to improve food security, logistics efficiency, and disaster preparedness by classifying warehouse types, ensuring regulatory compliance, and establishing a structured system for emergency food storage and distribution.

By actively participating in government initiatives, FAST Logistics Group continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of Philippine logistics. FAST leverages its expertise, nationwide network, and over 50 years of industry leadership to build a more connected and resilient supply chain ecosystem. Learn more from our Solutions Experts
