FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ largest Filipino third-party logistics (3PL) company, convened its trucking partners and transport stakeholders at the 4th Truckers’ Bootcamp on Wednesday, 17 December, to celebrate key milestones and further strengthen partnerships.

The Truckers’ Bootcamp, now on its fourth edition since launching in 2023, also served as a platform for FAST to discuss its “Big Brother” programs designed to support trucking partners.

The event brought together hundreds of FAST truck partners, alongside GPS providers, fleet fuel solutions partners, and manpower agencies that support the operations of FAST’s extensive fleet of more than 3,100 trucks, the largest in Philippine logistics.

Stronger Partnership, Accelerating Truck Industry Growth

FAST CEO for Logistics, Manuel L. Onrejas Jr., expressed gratitude to partner truckers for their essential role in servicing the company’s diverse client portfolio, which includes FMCG, retail, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, automotive, and agribusiness companies, among others.

Through the commitment and dedication of its trucking partners, Manny said FAST has consistently maintained 99% on-time delivery performance and 98% truck availability, ensuring reliable transport solutions for the Philippines’ most trusted brands.

“Your support has been invaluable to our growth as a company and to our mission of ensuring that Filipinos’ most preferred brands are available in stores and outlets near them,” he said.

He further noted that FAST has earned the trust of multinational companies and leading Filipino conglomerates, with strong operations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Covering 98% of Philippine provinces, FAST continues to provide the widest nationwide logistics network, enabling access to a broad range of transport solutions to clients and offering consistent business opportunities to hundreds of trucking partners nationwide.

‘Big Brother’ Programs Supporting Partner Truckers

During the bootcamp, FAST highlighted its comprehensive support programs designed to help partner truckers scale their operations and improve profitability. Manny added that FAST views its truckers not just as partners, but as key collaborators in building a stronger and more efficient logistics network across the Philippines.

“Our commitment is to ensure that every trucker affiliated with FAST has the tools, resources, and support they need to maximize earnings and grow their business sustainably,” Manny emphasized.

FAST’s “Big Brother” programs include the following:

Guaranteed Revenue

FAST offers guaranteed revenue through its lock-in truck program, ensuring predictable monthly earnings through region-based assignments, optimized fleet utilization, and opportunities for additional income. Trucks are assigned per region to serve assigned accounts within their designated areas, maximizing efficiency and minimizing idle time.

For 10-wheeler trucks, partners can earn ₱200,000 in guaranteed monthly revenue, while 6-wheelers can earn ₱100,000 per month. For RoRo lock-in coverage across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao (exclusive to 10-wheelers), guaranteed revenue is up to ₱375,000 per month.

Trucks enrolled in the program are prioritized, with guaranteed pay even during low trip volumes, plus opportunities to earn extra income through additional trips.

Dry Leasing Option

FAST also offers a truck leasing option for those who prefer not to operate their own trucks. Under this program, FAST will lease ₱85,000 per month for brand new 10-wheelers and ₱35,000 per month for brand new 6-wheelers. In case of second-hand trucks, FAST offers ₱75,000 per month for 10-wheelers and ₱30,000–₱80,000 per month for 6-wheelers.

FAST covers labor costs, fuel, tolls, repairs, and maintenance, offering a hassle-free solution for truckers seeking a fully managed fleet.

Driver and Helper Hiring Assistance Program

Recognizing the challenges of sourcing skilled personnel, FAST provides a Driver and Helper Hiring Assistance Program. The company connects truckers with trained delivery personnel through accredited manpower agencies. One such partner, Development Strategists International Consulting Inc., assists in manpower management to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

Innovation to Reduce Dwell and Queuing Time

During the Bootcamp, FAST also showcases FleXchange by FAST, a proprietary innovation and system-guided solution that reduces loading time from two to four hours down to just 30 minutes. FleXchange’s stackable and detachable boxes can be pre-loaded before trucks arrive, improving efficiency in both warehousing and transport operations.

According to FAST Solutions Head Ely Baleta, FleXchange helps reduce truck dwell time at FAST warehouses, ensuring partners can complete at least 24 trips per month for higher earnings and faster turnaround.
