FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider, recently welcomed aspiring trucking entrepreneurs to its main office to showcase the company’s programs designed to help truck owners and fleet operators build sustainable businesses.
The engagement held on Friday, June 19, was facilitated through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Supply Chain and Logistics Guild. FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel Onrejas Jr., Business Unit Head for Transport Operations Oli Encabo, and Transport Sourcing Head Nico Orallo met with Paulo De Leon and Carlo Arabejo, who sought guidance on opportunities in the trucking industry.
Also present during the discussion were DTI Supervising Trade-Industry Development Specialist Ma. Liza Sandina David and Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist Juvie Lyne Villamora.
The engagement stemmed from an inquiry submitted through the DTI Supply Chain and Logistics Guild, a network of supply chain professionals that provides pro bono advisory support to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Manny, FAST Vice President for Strategic Growth Initiatives Gladys Ceniza, and Business Unit Head for Cold Chain Operations Marc Anthony Dizon are members of the Guild.
“I learned that FAST Logistics Group is not just looking for truckers, but for long-term partners,” Paulo said. “FAST has several programs that support fleet operators and truck owners by helping them grow and succeed in their trucking business.”
Carlo added: “Coming from a procurement background, I found the learning session with FAST Logistics truly eye-opening. Hearing real-life scenarios and practical advice about the trucking business gave me a deeper appreciation of logistics. I hope more professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs will have the chance to learn from FAST.”
FAST Logistics Group: Building an Ecosystem for Trucking Entrepreneurs
During the engagement, FAST presented a range of initiatives designed to address the most common challenges faced by truck owners and transport operators.
According to Nico, FAST’s support programs are built around a simple objective: helping trucking partners become more profitable, sustainable, and competitive. These include guaranteed monthly revenue through its truck lock-in program, predictable earnings through dry lease option, driver and helper recruitment assistance, fuel savings initiative, and financing options for business expansion.
The programs further strengthen FAST’s nationwide trucking network, which includes more than 900 trucking partners and over 3,100 transport units—the largest transport network in the Philippines.
“Many aspiring truck owners have the drive to succeed but face challenges related to capital, manpower, utilization, and operational costs,” Nico said. “Our long-standing commitment is to provide opportunities and support systems that help truckers overcome these barriers and grow with us.”

Supporting Truckers Beyond Transport Opportunities
Unlike traditional subcontracting arrangements, FAST’s programs are designed to support trucking partners throughout different stages of their business journey. These programs are:
1) Guaranteed Monthly Income Through Truck Lock-In Program
One of FAST’s flagship initiatives is its truck lock-in program, which provides trucking partners with guaranteed monthly revenue regardless of fluctuations in trip volume.
Under the program, trucking partners dedicate their units exclusively to FAST within an assigned region and, in return, receive a fixed monthly income. This arrangement gives operators greater financial stability while ensuring consistent dispatch opportunities across multiple customer accounts.
Beyond the guaranteed amount, trucking partners can further increase their earnings through additional trips completed during the month. The program helps reduce idle time, improve truck utilization, and create a more predictable business model for operators, allowing them to focus on delivering reliable service while maximizing their earning potential.
2) Predictable, Hassle-Free Earnings Through Dry Lease Arrangement
FAST’s dry lease arrangement allows truck owners to generate steady earnings without managing daily operations, while the company handles operational requirements.
Through this program, FAST leases truck units and assumes responsibility for day-to-day operational expenses, including labor, fuel, toll fees, repairs, maintenance, and other operational requirements. Truck owners simply provide a roadworthy unit and maintain the necessary documentation.
The arrangement allows owners to generate a steady monthly income without managing transport operations themselves, making it an attractive option for investors and fleet owners looking for stable and predictable returns.
3) Driver and Helper Hiring Assistance
Recognizing that manpower remains one of the biggest challenges in the transport industry, FAST also offers Driver and Helper Hiring Assistance to its trucking partners.
Through partnerships with recruitment and training providers, FAST helps source, screen, onboard, and develop qualified drivers, helpers, and logistics personnel. The program aims to ensure workforce readiness while reducing the time and resources trucking partners spend on recruitment.
By helping address labor requirements, FAST enables operators to focus on business growth and service excellence while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
4) Fuel Savings Program
Fuel costs continue to be one of the largest operating expenses for trucking businesses, prompting FAST to develop a structured Fuel Savings Program for its partners.
The program leverages accredited fuel stations and FAST-managed fuel administration systems to ensure proper monitoring and validation of fuel transactions. Through dedicated personnel and digital verification processes, trucking partners benefit from improved transparency, stronger controls, and better fuel management.
By minimizing unauthorized fuel usage and optimizing refueling processes, the initiative helps partners improve profitability and operational efficiency.
5) Financing Option for Business Expansion
To help aspiring and existing trucking entrepreneurs overcome capital constraints, FAST also provides access to financing solutions designed specifically for transport operations.
Through digital financing options integrated into the FAST ecosystem, trucking partners may access funding for truck acquisition, fuel, payroll, maintenance, and other operational requirements. The program addresses common cash flow challenges that can limit business growth and service reliability.
Combined with FAST’s operational support programs, the financing initiative empowers trucking partners to build sustainable and scalable businesses while expanding their capacity to serve customers.
FAST Logistics Group: Creating Success Stories Through Partnership
FAST, the Philippines’ biggest 3PL company, is committed to supporting trucking partners as reflected in the success stories of operators who have grown alongside the company.
One such example is Jupeth Peque, owner of L&G Land Transport Services, who expanded from one truck to 17 units in just two years through his partnership with FAST. All 17 units are dedicated to servicing FAST operations.
Jupeth credits the company for providing steady opportunities and consistent support that enabled him to scale his business.
“FAST helped me grow my trucking business by providing steady opportunities and support,” Peque shared. “The growth of my business allowed me to create more opportunities and spend more time with my family.”
As FAST continues to expand its nationwide logistics network, the company remains committed to empowering Filipino trucking entrepreneurs through programs that provide not only transport opportunities, but also the resources, support, and partnerships needed to achieve long-term success.
