FAST Logistics Group, the country’s leading end-to-end logistics provider, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region IV-A to open employment opportunities for beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel L. Onrejas Jr. signed the MOA on Tuesday, October 28, marking the start of a partnership aimed at fostering workforce development for 4Ps beneficiaries.

Under the agreement, FAST committed to include qualified 4Ps beneficiaries in its recruitment and hiring efforts.

FAST also commits to providing decent, safe, and inclusive workplaces, ensuring that its practices are aligned with labor laws, social protection principles, and the Department’s mission of inclusive growth.

In addition, the partnership includes collaboration on job fairs and advocacy programs to strengthen engagement and employment outcomes for beneficiaries.

FAST will conduct an exclusive job fair for 4Ps beneficiaries in Laguna on November 12, the first activity under the partnership.

“Our commitment to providing Logistics Para Sa Bayan not only involves moving goods from Point A to Point B, but also moving lives forward and uplifting Filipino communities,” Onrejas said. “With our partnership with DSWD IV-A, we empower 4Ps beneficiaries with stable employment and growth opportunities.”

Present during the MOA signing were FAST’s AVP for Human Resources Ivey Lauren D. Lumanglas and Senior Talent Acquisition Manager Lorraine M. Espino, as well as DSWD IV-A’s Assistant Director for Operations Mylah S. Gatchalian and Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program Division Chief Nellibeth V. Mercado.

This distinction highlights the company’s dedication to building a people-centered workplace and its continuous pursuit of innovation and excellence.

“Dedicated employees power our business and help us deliver topnotch logistics every single day,” Onrejas said. “Through this collaboration with DSWD, we can reach more Filipinos who are eager to work, learn, and build rewarding careers. We want to make logistics a pathway for upliftment and nation-building.”

Providing Jobs for 4Ps Beneficiaries

4Ps, a flagship poverty alleviation program of the Philippine government, provides conditional cash grants to improve the lives of low-income households. As 4Ps beneficiaries transition out of the program, sustainable employment becomes a vital component in ensuring they maintain financial independence.

This collaboration supports the DSWD’s mission of ensuring that households exiting the 4Ps program gain access to livelihood and skills development.

In this milestone, FAST and DSWD Region IV-A reaffirm their shared mission of creating inclusive employment opportunities. Reach out to our Solutions Experts to discover how you can build a career with FAST
