FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading end-to-end logistics provider, participated in the 25th National Public Employment Service Officers (PESO) Congress held from October 15-17 at Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City.

The annual Congress brought together thousands of PESO delegates from cities and municipalities nationwide. Representatives from the Department of Labor and Employment, the private sector, and other key stakeholders also participated in the three-day event.

The gathering served as a platform for collaboration and policy alignment toward creating meaningful and inclusive employment opportunities for Filipinos.

Organized by the PESO Managers Association of the Philippines (PESOMAP) Region IV-A CALABARZON, this year’s Congress focused on localizing national employment strategies such as the Trabaho Para sa Bayan Plan 2025–2034 and aligning with the long-term vision of AmBisyon Natin 2040.

As one of the event sponsors, FAST underscored its strong and continuous demand for skilled and dedicated logistics professionals, particularly warehouse personnel who play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods across the country.

FAST representatives engaged with PESO officers and local government officials to explore collaboration opportunities for recruitment and training, creating pathways for jobseekers to build stable and rewarding careers in logistics.

With over 12,000 employees and the country’s largest warehouse footprint and most extensive trucking fleet, FAST continues to invest in people as its greatest asset. By combining its extensive logistics expertise with continuous employee development, the company ensures that its workforce remains agile, skilled, and ready to meet the evolving demands of the supply chain industry.

Strengthening the Philippine Logistics Workforce

Beyond job creation, FAST has been continuously developing its workforce through sustained learning and upskilling initiatives. The company operates the FAST Learning and Innovation Hub, a specialized training center accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and dedicated to nurturing future logistics leaders.

The first and only facility of its kind in Philippine logistics, the hub offers practical training in warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation, and professional driving, among others. These programs are designed to equip both new hires and existing employees with skills and knowledge essential to logistics and supply chain management.

Through its tailored training programs, the center provides employees with opportunities to strengthen their technical expertise, operational excellence, and leadership capabilities.

FAST also leverages a Learning Management System (LMS) that allows employees nationwide to remotely access training modules and development resources, ensuring equal access to learning regardless of location. The LMS curriculum follows a structured, laddered format, dividing learning into levels that allow learners to progress step by step while building competencies at each stage.

FAST’s participation in the 25th National PESO Congress, led by its Human Resources Group, reflects the company’s strong partnership with government and local institutions in fostering employment, skills enhancement, and inclusive economic growth.

With over 50 years of industry leadership, FAST Logistics Group continues to empower individuals, communities, and industries through sustainable employment and lifelong learning. Connect with our Solutions Experts to learn more
