FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading provider of end-to-end logistics solutions, participated in a stakeholder consultation for the proposed poultry marketplace developed by the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region III.

The consultation and system demonstration of the proposed iInsert-iForecast Poultry Information Management System and Cluckee e-Marketplace was held on Wednesday, October 15, at CLIRDEC Building, CLSU.

Jointly undertaken by CLSU and DOST Region III, it brought together key stakeholders from the poultry industry. This initiative is part of the project “Strengthening the Competitiveness of the Priority Industries in Region III through Industry 4.0 Technologies – Year 2: Advancing the Production Network of the Poultry Industry in Central Luzon.”

FAST was the only logistics provider invited to the event, underscoring its role in supporting digital innovations in the supply chain.

During the event, project managers presented the system’s features and functionalities. They demonstrated how it can strengthen monitoring across the poultry supply chain to improve market responsiveness, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.

The consultation also aimed to gather valuable insights and feedback from industry experts and end-users to help refine the system’s design and ensure it addresses the sector’s needs.

Central Luzon: The Philippines’ Poultry Powerhouse

Central Luzon has the largest poultry production and supplier base in the Philippines. In 2023, it accounted for 26% of the country’s total poultry production value at constant 2018 prices, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority.

A 2020-2024 industry summary further notes that Central Luzon and CALABARZON together produce more than half of the Philippines’ total chicken output, underscoring Central Luzon’s continued dominance in the sector. The top three provincial chicken producers in 2020 were also located within Central Luzon—Bulacan with 185.09 million kilograms (live weight), followed by Pampanga with 164.48 million kilograms, and Nueva Ecija with 112.08 million kilograms.

Through its participation in the stakeholder consultation, FAST continues to build partnerships that drive innovation and sustainability in Philippine agro-logistics. It helps local industries thrive in the era of digital transformation.
