FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading end-to-end logistics solutions provider, continues to set the benchmark for the supply chain industry with the launch of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy.
The company is stepping up as a leader in sustainable logistics through its willingness to explore innovative approaches and its commitment to rigorous global benchmarks. FAST’s ESG strategy demonstrates how logistics can drive both progress and sustainability.
Guided by a comprehensive materiality assessment, FAST’s ESG strategy focuses on four core pillars that shape how it serves customers, supports its people, protects the environment, and upholds strong governance. This strategy is also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
Here’s a closer look at each of the four pillars of FAST ESG strategy.
Promoting Customer Satisfaction and Welfare
FAST has long recognized that its customers are at the heart of its business. The company centers its operations on delivering excellent service by monitoring customer satisfaction scores and reducing complaints. FAST also manages claims efficiently and promptly closes Corrective Action Reports.

Creating a Safe and Empowered Workplace
FAST considers its people its greatest resource, making employee well-being a top priority. The company strives for ISO-certified sites, reduced workplace injuries, and zero Lost Time Accidents. It also promotes diversity and engagement, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace where employees can thrive.
FAST Logistics Head Office in Manila and other sites have been certified for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS), and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), demonstrating the organization’s commitment to international standards and operational excellence.
It invests in skills development through the FAST Learning and Innovation Hub, the first-of-its-kind in Philippine logistics, and the Learning Management System, which provides online training access for employees nationwide. These initiatives empower team members to continuously grow while supporting their well-being and safety at work.

Transitioning to a Low-Carbon Economy
Acknowledging the resource-intensive nature of logistics, FAST is committed to lowering its environmental footprint. Key initiatives include reducing Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions, minimizing waste and packaging, and investing in green technologies.
FAST has a board-approved decarbonization plan with 2030 targets to reduce direct emissions by 55% from a 2023 baseline, aligned with its long-term goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050.
In early 2024, FAST launched the first fully electric truck in the Philippines. These vehicles reduce both carbon and noise emissions and are equipped with GPS, AI dashboards, and dashcams. Major warehouses are also powered by solar energy under the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Option Program and Retail Electricity Supply. Three of its warehouses are running on 100% renewable energy, preventing millions of kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions.
In addition, FAST introduced FAST Recharge, solar-powered charging stations for its EVs.
These sustainability efforts earned FAST the Sustainability and Green Logistics Award at the 2024 SCMAP Supply Chain Excellence Awards, a recognition of its leadership in green logistics in the country.

Ensuring Strong Governance and Risk Management
FAST anchors its operations on ethics, compliance, and resilience. The company tracks progress through key metrics such as employee training on its Code of Business Conduct, data security and privacy compliance, and supplier code adherence. FAST also monitors incident response and sustainability risk assessments. Ensuring that its supply chain follows the Vendor’s Code of Conduct further reduces risks that could disrupt operations.
The company also integrates ESG at the highest levels of leadership. Executives receive regular training to strengthen their active role in monitoring and advancing ESG priorities across the organization.
FAST received an EcoVadis Commitment Badge for its strong performance in ESG practices. This recognition underscores the company’s dedication to embedding sustainability into every aspect of its operations.
With over 50 years of industry leadership, FAST continues to push for green innovation and responsible business conduct. It also provides reliable, end-to-end logistics solutions for enterprises, big or small. Connect with our Solutions Experts or visit our webpage to learn more about our ESG strategy
