FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading provider of end-to-end logistics solutions, held a Truckers Roadshow in Davao City on Tuesday, January 27, to present growth and partnership opportunities for local truck owners and operators.

The event, hosted at The Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases, gathered Davao-based trucking businesses and introduced FAST’s “Big Brother” support programs designed to help trucking partners grow, scale, and secure more stable income streams.

FAST ‘Big Brother’ Programs for Accredited Truckers

During the roadshow, FAST presented several support programs available to truckers who join its nationwide trucking network. These include:

  • Guaranteed monthly revenue program
  • Dry leasing arrangement
  • Financing support
  • Driver and helper hiring assistance
  • Fuel savings assistance

These programs aim to reduce operational risks while enabling truck owners to grow their businesses sustainably.

Guaranteed Monthly Revenue Program Explained

The guaranteed monthly revenue program is designed for truck owners and operators who want stable, predictable income. Currently, the program is available to owners of 10-wheeler and 6-wheeler trucks.

Under this program, FAST guarantees a fixed monthly revenue. The guaranteed amount is consumable, meaning truck owners can earn more once the guaranteed amount is reached by taking on additional trips.

If the total value of assigned trips falls short of the guaranteed amount, FAST still pays the full promised revenue—providing income security for participating truckers.

Trips under this program are region-based, lock-in assignments, ensuring consistent operations within a defined area. In return, truck owners commit to making their units available to meet FAST’s operational requirements.

Dry Leasing Program Explained

For truck owners who prefer not to manage daily operations, FAST offers a dry leasing program.

Under this arrangement, truck owners lease their units to FAST and receive a fixed monthly income without shouldering operational costs such as fuel and toll fees, driver and helper salaries, and repairs and maintenance.

FAST covers these expenses for the duration of the agreement and manages all transport logistics while using the leased trucks for its operations.

The fixed monthly income varies depending on the truck type. This arrangement offered by FAST is ideal for truck owners who want steady earnings without the stress and complexity of running daily trucking operations.

Most roadshow attendees expressed strong interest in both the guaranteed monthly revenue program and the dry leasing arrangement, citing flexibility and income stability as key benefits.

FAST Logistics Group held a Truckers Roadshow in Davao City to introduce local truck owners and operators to its trucking partnership programs—such as guaranteed monthly revenue and dry leasing—aimed at helping them secure consistent trips and grow their business.

Trucking Industry Trends and Opportunities in Davao

Davao’s expanding commercial activity is reshaping local transport needs, creating new opportunities for truckers to tap into steady demand and long-term growth with FAST.

Rising Demand for Trucking Services

FAST VP for Strategy Gladys Ceniza and Business Unit Head for Inland Freight Oli Encabo shared insights on key trucking industry trends during the event.

They highlighted that demand for trucking services in Davao and nearby areas continues to rise, driven by the expansion of existing businesses and the entry of new ones—making the region a strong growth opportunity for local truckers.

Serving FMCG and Major Brands

FAST also emphasized growing opportunities to serve major multinational and local fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies. FAST currently supports the transport and warehousing requirements of these brands, opening doors for Davao-based truckers to benefit from consistent trips and steady income.

Growing Need for Refrigerated Trucks

Speakers also noted the increasing demand for refrigerated trucks (reefer vans) in Davao, fueled by the need for temperature-controlled transport of frozen goods and beverages.

The Davao City roadshow followed the successful Truckers Roadshow in Cagayan de Oro City, held on January 20 at Mallberry Suites Business Hotel, reinforcing FAST’s commitment to expanding partnerships across Mindanao.

FAST Logistics Group operates the largest trucking fleet in the Philippines, with over 3,100 trucks and more than 900 trucking partners nationwide. FAST offers inland freight, sea and air freight, RoRo solutions, warehousing, cross-docking, intelligent ColdChain solutions, and value-added services
