FAST Logistics Group and its partners, Victory Group and MEVBuilt, celebrated a momentous event with the groundbreaking of its North Distribution Center 2 in Brgy. Camalig in Meycauayan, Bulacan.

The groundbreaking was attended by leaders from all three groups as well as representatives from the Local Government Unit of Meycauayan.

The groundbreaking ceremony kicked off with words from Victory Group CEO Enrique Castillo, which was followed by statements from City Vice Mayor Josefina O. Violago and FAST Logistics Group’s Anton Punzalan Chiongbian.

Aron Javier, Chief Operating Officer of FAST Logistics, also gave his thoughts on the forthcoming North Distribution Center 2.

“FAST currently has several warehouses situated in Bulacan. The province serves as the gateway to the North and is one of the most progressive, in terms of advantages and potential for attracting investment in industrial development due to its open business environment, convenient trade location, and available infrastructure,” says Aron.

“FAST intends to promptly meet our customers’ increasingly diverse warehouse facilities demand, taking advantage of the growing demand of the Philippines’ logistics sector. This is an important project for us since it only increases our warehouse footprint in the North but also serves as a livelihood for many Bulacenos,” Aron added.

Aron also mentioned that the upcoming facility could also serve as a place for its workforce to learn the necessary warehouse knowledge and hone their skills, to be more competent in the Logistics industry.

The new 11-hectare facility is expected to provide additional capacity to its existing operations in North Luzon. This new facility, like the rest of the FAST warehouses, will have high-tech cargo handling and storage facilities.
