FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading provider of end-to-end logistics solutions, hosted a Business Owners’ Roundtable Dinner with board members of the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explore business opportunities and potential areas for collaboration.
FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel Onrejas Jr., VP for Strategic Growth Initiatives Gladys Ceniza, Business Unit Head for Inland Freight Oli Encabo, and Business Unit Head for RoRo Freight Francis “Cocoy” Pana met with select Chamber members on Thursday night, January 22, in Cagayan de Oro City.
Cagayan de Oro is a key and strategic location for FAST, serving as a gateway to Northern Mindanao—Bukidnon, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, and Camiguin—as well as neighboring Agusan provinces.
FAST operates four warehouse hubs in Misamis Oriental for its Principals, namely, in Bulua, Casinglot, Tagoloan, and the newly-opened facility in Opol. FAST also transports goods for multinational companies, major conglomerates, and medium- to large-sized enterprises to and from Cagayan de Oro.
Strong Partnership for Inclusive Growth
The Roundtable Dinner concluded FAST’s weeklong FAST Solutions Roadshow. Throughout the week, FAST engaged with business owners, industry leaders, and aspiring entrepreneurs across the city to offer business opportunities and end-to-end logistics solutions.
Before the dinner, FAST held a roundtable discussion on logistics challenges and solutions with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry – Misamis Oriental at Mallberry Suites Business Hotel. The event was joined by representatives from the DTI Region X and local government units.
FAST also conducted a Truckers Roadshow in Cagayan de Oro, including a one-day accreditation for local truckers who want to join the FAST network. During the activity, FAST shared opportunities for entrepreneurs interested in entering the trucking business. FAST also held a one-day job-hiring activity in Cagayan de Oro.
