FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading provider of integrated end-to-end logistics solutions, is helping Cebu-based businesses expand their market reach by leveraging its nationwide network and supply chain expertise as they scale and reach more customers.
FAST showcased its logistics capabilities and opportunities for businesses of all sizes – from corporations to micro, small, and medium enterprises — during the FAST Logistics Solutions Forum 2026 on Wednesday, October 21, at Seda Ayala Center Cebu.
With the theme “Cebu in Motion: Leveraging Logistics Solutions to Expand Business and Investment,” the forum highlighted the role of supply chain solutions in connecting local enterprises to broader markets.
Bobby Lim, chief operating officer for transport of FAST Logistics Group, presented how businesses can leverage the company’s nationwide warehousing and transportation network to move products to key markets outside of Cebu, including Manila, Iloilo, Bacolod, Dumaguete, Tagbilaran, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Butuan, and Zamboanga.
He particularly emphasized:
- 3PL services or contract logistics
- Multimodal transportation spanning trucking or land freight, RoRo shipping (roll-on/roll-off), sea freight, and air freight
- Warehousing management
- Intelligent cold chain solutions
- Cross-docking and direct-to-store deliveries
- Value-added services or toll manufacturing such as labeling, stickering, promotional bundling, printing, and polybag sealing

Leveraging FAST Cebu Infrastructure to Help Businesses Scale
Bobby also highlighted FAST’s logistics infrastructure across Cebu Province, which includes dry warehouses, cold storage facilities, and transportation and cross-docking hubs strategically located in Cebu City, Mandaue City, and Consolacion.
This extensive infrastructure enables FAST to serve its national corporate accounts, many of which are multinational companies and major conglomerates whose goods originate in Luzon and are distributed nationwide, including Cebu.
Bobby noted that these facilities support businesses across various industries, including food and beverage, household and personal care, clothing and apparel, and industrial products.
At the forum, Bobby highlighted that businesses, regardless of size, can outsource their logistics operations to FAST so they can focus on their core business. They can also take advantage of FAST established logistics network without the need to build their own logistics infrastructure.
The discussion underscored FAST’s commitment to making integrated logistics solutions accessible to businesses in Cebu, enabling them to explore expansion opportunities while aligning their supply chain requirements with their growth plans.
FAST Logistics Solutions Forum 2026 also brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and government representatives to discuss how logistics, investment, and strategic partnerships can help Cebu businesses pursue growth opportunities across the Philippines.
Scaling Beyond Borders Through Logistics
A key discussion at the forum focused on what businesses need to scale beyond their existing markets.
Dr. Brian To, global strategist and senior fellow at The Wharton School, delivered a presentation titled “From the World to Cebu: Lessons to Be Learned in Scaling Businesses Beyond Borders.” His session framed business expansion within a broader global perspective, emphasizing the importance of understanding how enterprises can grow beyond their existing markets.
The discussion complemented FAST’s presentation on the role of logistics in business expansion, as reaching new customers requires businesses to consider not only market opportunities but also the supply chain capabilities needed to serve them.
For Cebu-based enterprises, access to transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution services can help address the operational requirements that come with serving customers across multiple locations.
By presenting its integrated logistics portfolio, FAST enables businesses to explore end-to-end supply chain solutions tailored to their operational needs, from product handling and storage to transportation and distribution.

Cebu’s Growth and Investment Potential
The forum also examined the broader economic opportunities that could support business expansion in Cebu.
Paulo Uy, head of the Cebu Provincial Investment and Promotions Office and head of digitalization of the Provincial Government of Cebu, presented “Cebu’s Growth and Investment Outlook.” His session placed the discussion on business expansion within the context of the province’s investment and development prospects.
Marivic Aguilar, provincial director of the Department of Trade and Industry-Cebu Provincial Office, delivered the government’s message of support, reinforcing the importance of collaboration among the public sector, private enterprises, and industry partners in advancing business development.
These discussions highlighted the connection between investment opportunities and the operational capabilities businesses need to capitalize on them. As enterprises explore new markets, logistics infrastructure and dependable distribution networks become important considerations in managing the movement of goods and supporting business growth.
Cebu’s strategic position as a gateway to the Visayas and Mindanao further strengthens its role in connecting regional enterprises to domestic markets.
Logistics as an Enabler of Regional Competitiveness
Capt. Rodien Paca, a maritime leader and entrepreneur, presented “Logistics as Driver of Cebu Growth,” highlighting logistics as a central theme in discussions on the province’s economic development.
The session complemented the forum’s focus on market access by bringing attention to the importance of people, process, and technology to improve cargo movement and connectivity in supporting businesses across the region. For Cebu enterprises serving customers outside the province, transportation links and coordination across logistics modes are essential considerations in planning distribution and expansion.
As presented by Bobby, FAST works with over 900 trucking partners to manage more than 3,100 trucks nationwide, as well as 14 shipping lines for its sea freight solutions and 2 airline carriers for its air freight solutions.
FAST also operates two million square meters of warehouse space nationwide, with capacity exceeding 1 million pallet positions for both dry and cold goods. FAST serves businesses across multiple industries, including fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, automotive, and industrial.
Creating Opportunities for Businesses and Transport Partners
Beyond supporting enterprises seeking new markets, FAST also highlighted opportunities for trucking businesses to participate in its transport network.
FAST encouraged Cebu truck owners and fleet operators to work with FAST, recognizing the role of trucking businesses in maintaining the movement of goods and meeting the evolving distribution requirements of customers nationwide.
The forum concluded with a synthesis by FAST VP for Group Strategy Gladys Ceniza, followed by networking opportunities for participants to continue discussions on business growth and logistics solutions.
She also reaffirmed FAST’s commitment to supporting Cebu businesses, underscoring the company’s deep roots in the Visayas. FAST traces its origins to William Lines Inc., a major passenger and cargo shipping operator based in Cebu.
