FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading end-to-end logistics company, showcased its solutions designed to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Cagayan de Oro and nearby municipalities in Misamis Oriental.
In partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Misamis Oriental, FAST hosted the FAST Solutions Roadshow and Roundtable Discussion with Misamis Oriental MSMEs on Tuesday, January 20, at Mallberry Suites Business Hotel.
The event aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the logistics challenges faced by MSMEs, particularly in transporting products to different parts of the Philippines, and to present practical, scalable solutions to address these concerns.
FAST values strong partnerships and shared commitment in building MSME competitiveness. By working closely with the DTI, its regional offices, and local government partners, FAST helps ensure that MSMEs are not left behind as markets expand and customer expectations rise.
FAST believes that topnotch logistics solutions should be enjoyed not only by large corporations, but also by homegrown brands—empowering entrepreneurs to scale through reliable, cost-efficient logistics support.
Reliable Transport Logistics for Wider Market Reach
The discussion was led by FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel L. Onrejas Jr., VP for Strategic Growth Initiatives Gladys Ceniza, and Business Unit Head for Inland Freight Oli Encabo, who shared insights and proposed tailored solutions for MSMEs.
“We want MSMEs to know that they don’t have to settle for limited options,” Manny said. “When logistics becomes more reliable and predictable, entrepreneurs can focus on what they do best: improving products, growing customers, and creating jobs in their communities.”
During the roundtable, MSMEs cited logistics costs and limited availability of transport solutions as their primary challenges. An internal survey conducted by FAST among interested participants revealed that 77 percent identified high logistics costs as the main issue affecting their business, while 52 percent cited limited pickup or delivery schedules.
The same survey showed that 88 percent of respondents consider price as their top factor when choosing a logistics partner, followed by pickup or delivery schedule (77 percent). Other key considerations included reliability (73 percent), customer service (73 percent), and network or reach (65 percent).
In response, FAST presented its comprehensive transport solutions, including its multimodal transport capability, nationwide reach, options for hub-to-hub or last-mile delivery, and fixed delivery schedules that ensure reliable pickup and drop-off.
Oli highlighted that FAST operates the Philippines’ widest transport fleet, with over 3,100 units of all truck types and more than 900 trucking partners nationwide, enabling the company to serve multinational corporations, major conglomerates, and local entrepreneurs alike.

Forward Stock: Flexible Warehousing Solution for Supply Chain Resiliency
Manny and Gladys emphasized that beyond transport, FAST also provides flexible and scalable warehousing solutions across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to support business growth and resilience.
One of these solutions is Forward Stock, a strategic option for businesses that want to ship in bulk and pre-position inventory in key locations for faster order fulfillment. This setup is particularly beneficial for MSMEs with products that have a long shelf life but uncertain demand, while also helping mitigate supply chain disruptions caused by typhoons, port congestion, and other calamities.
With Forward Stock, companies can enjoy flexible per-pallet, per-day storage arrangements that allow for scalability based on business needs. The solution also caters to both dry warehousing requirements and cold storage for perishables.
In Cagayan de Oro, FAST operates a cross-docking facility in Opol and three other warehouses for its Principals in Mindanao, further strengthening its logistics infrastructure in the region and supporting MSMEs.
End-to-End Trade Fair Support for Cagayan de Oro MSMEs
FAST also presented its end-to-end trade fair support, a comprehensive solution that manages everything from product pickup, transport, permits, and delivery to the trade fair venue. This allows MSMEs to focus on engaging buyers and showcasing their products without the burden of managing complex logistics.
With this solution, FAST picks up products and delivers them to the trade fair venue. MSMEs simply need to arrive on their scheduled ingress date, with their products already waiting and ready for display.
As a trusted logistics solutions provider, FAST actively collaborates with the DTI, its regional offices, and local government units to design and deliver logistics solutions that are aligned with the needs of MSMEs and their ongoing business initiatives.
The event forms part of FAST’s broader initiative to strengthen its local presence in Mindanao. FAST will also convene MSMEs in Davao City on Friday, January 30, at Kawa Hall, The Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases.
Previously, FAST partnered with DTI Provincial Offices, local government units, and business groups in Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, the Bicol Region, and Guimaras to help strengthen local supply chains and widen market access for regional products.
