FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading provider of end-to-end logistics solutions, marks a significant milestone in its journey toward sustainable development by committing to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and launching its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy.

To reduce its environmental impact across the entire value chain, FAST has pledged to cut Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions, minimize waste and packaging, and invest in green technologies.

FAST’s decarbonization plan targets a 55% reduction in direct emissions by 2030, based on a 2023 baseline.

Besides declaring its Net Zero goal, FAST launched its ESG strategy anchored on four priorities: promoting customer satisfaction and welfare, creating a safe and empowered workplace, transitioning to a low-carbon economy, and ensuring strong governance and risk management.

“Our journey to Net Zero is a transformation of how we power, move, and manage logistics,” said Manuel L. Onrejas Jr., FAST CEO for Logistics. “Every step we take to cut emissions brings us closer to a future where sustainability drives competitiveness.”

FAST’s commitment to achieving net-zero is particularly significant given its scale. It operates the country’s largest warehouse footprint of over two million square meters, one billion annual throughput in cases, more than one million pallet positions, and the nation’s most extensive transport fleet of more than 3,100 trucks.

Companies are increasingly seeking logistics partners that align with their sustainability goals. FAST’s ESG strategy positions it as the partner of choice for businesses aiming to cut their carbon footprint while ensuring efficiency.

Logistics Para Sa Bayan

Onrejas emphasized that FAST’s sustainability agenda reflects the very heart of its mission, delivering Logistics Para Sa Bayan to empower businesses of all sizes, uplift communities, and create lasting impact.

“‘Logistics Para sa Bayan’ has always been about serving people and the planet,” he said. “Logistics can be a force for both progress and sustainability.”

The company made the announcement on Friday, September 5, during Day 2 of the 2025 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference at EDSA Shangri-La Manila.

FAST bagged the Sustainability and Green Logistics Award from the 2024 SCMAP Supply Chain Excellence Awards for its pioneering use of green technologies in Philippine logistics.

In early 2024, FAST launched the industry’s first fully electric truck, equipped with GPS, AI dashboards, and dashcams. It is powered by FAST Recharge — solar energy-driven charging stations. Moreover, three of the company’s major warehouses are operating on 100% renewable energy.

As a sponsor of this year’s SCMAP Conference, FAST showcased its comprehensive suite of logistics solutions, including transportation, warehousing, cross-docking, and value-added services.
