FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading end-to-end logistics and supply chain solutions provider, highlighted how its integrated logistics services can support the growth of businesses in Davao and across Mindanao during the ECCP Davao Community Connect organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP).

Held on Monday, March 9, at Park Inn by Radisson Davao, the event gathered ECCP members and regional business leaders for a day of learning, networking, and collaboration. As a Patron Sponsor, FAST joined the gathering to share insights on how efficient logistics and supply chain solutions can enable businesses in Mindanao to scale operations, reach new markets, and contribute to the region’s inclusive economic growth.

The ECCP Davao Community Connect aims to strengthen collaboration among companies operating in the region by creating opportunities for dialogue, partnership, and knowledge exchange. By bringing together industry stakeholders early in the year, ECCP set the tone for a 2026 focused on stronger partnerships and a more connected business community in Mindanao.

Supporting Davao and Mindanao Businesses Through Integrated End-to-End Logistics

During the event, FAST presented its integrated end-to-end logistics and supply chain solutions designed to support companies across industries including FMCG, retail, pharmaceutical, and automotive sectors.

FAST’s solutions include:

These solutions enable businesses to streamline operations, improve delivery performance, and expand their reach across the Philippine archipelago.

FAST Logistics Group is in the final stages of opening a new multi-user FAST Logistics and Crossdock Mega Hub in Davao City, strengthening its capacity to deliver faster and more reliable supply chain solutions across Southern Mindanao. FAST Logistics and Crossdock Mega Hub is located in Acacia, Barangay Indangan in Davao, with a total leasable area of 18,608.29 square meters and 13,840 pallet positions. It is strategically situated about 12 kilometers from Davao International Airport and 15 kilometers from the PPA/SASA Port.

How Third-Party Logistics (3PL) and Fourth-Party Logistics (4PL) Partners Improve Supply Chain Efficiency in Mindanao

Speaking during the event, FAST Business Development Manager for Mindanao Melvin Mendoza discussed how integrated third-party logistics (3PL) and fourth-party logistics (4PL) solutions like the ones offered by FAST help companies simplify supply chain management while improving visibility and operational efficiency.

“Reliable logistics enables companies to move goods faster, reduce operational costs, and improve delivery performance,” Melvin said.

By integrating multiple logistics functions under a single logistics partner, businesses can eliminate coordination challenges between providers while maintaining end-to-end visibility of shipments — from origin to final delivery.

A single point of contact for logistics operations allows businesses to focus on their core operations while relying on FAST’s expertise to manage their supply chains.

Companies operate more efficiently despite supply chain disruptions if they have a transport logistics partner with warehousing and toll manufacturing capabilities.

Melvin emphasized that FAST provides a forward stocking strategy for businesses.

Forward stocking strategy refers to pre-positioning inventory closer to key customer and market locations, helping businesses reduce lead times and respond faster to demand fluctuations. This also helps businesses respond better to supply chain disruptions.

With FAST’s nationwide network, integrated warehousing and transport capabilities, and end-to-end supply chain expertise, FAST is the ideal partner to design and manage forward stocking solutions that enable faster market access and scalable growth.

Enabling Market Expansion Across the Philippines

FAST also highlighted its advanced logistics technologies and nationwide infrastructure, which allow businesses to scale operations and expand distribution across the country.

The company’s network currently covers 94% of Philippine provinces, supported by more than 3,100 vehicles and a nationwide logistics infrastructure. This enables companies to extend their distribution footprint and serve customers more efficiently throughout the Philippine archipelago.

For businesses based in Davao and Mindanao, this connectivity provides a strategic advantage — linking regional producers, manufacturers, and retailers to markets across Luzon and the Visayas.

FAST Logistics Group: Driving Inclusive Growth in Mindanao

Melvin emphasized that Mindanao presents strong opportunities for business growth, driven by developments in agriculture, manufacturing, retail, and trade.

As industries expand, the need for efficient, reliable supply chains becomes increasingly critical.

Through its logistics expertise and nationwide network, FAST aims to help businesses in Mindanao strengthen their supply chains, improve operational efficiency, and build resilience in an evolving economic landscape.

Earlier this year, FAST expanded its initiatives in Davao through a roundtable discussion on logistics challenges and solutions with the DTI Davao City Field Office and MSMEs, alongside a webinar on smart packaging strategies held in partnership with DTI Davao Region (Region XI).

These engagements reflect FAST’s continued commitment to working closely with Davao businesses and institutions to strengthen supply chain capabilities, support MSME development, and contribute to more inclusive growth across the region.

By partnering with companies in the region, FAST supports not only business expansion but also inclusive economic growth for Davao and Mindanao.
