FAST Logistics Reinforces Industry Leadership at SCMAP Visayas Supply Chain Summit 2026

FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading provider of integrated end-to-end logistics solutions, reinforced its industry leadership at the SCMAP Visayas Supply Chain Summit held on Thursday, October 22, at Bai Hotel in Mandaue City. 

Organized by the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP) Visayas Chapter, the annual summit convened government leaders, company executives, logistics players, and other industry stakeholders to discuss pressing issues confronting the logistics and supply chain sector. 

With the theme “Keeping the Chain Moving: Thriving Through Disruption with Collaboration, Technology, and Talent,” the summit spotlighted key industry challenges and opportunities, including cost inflation, operational disruptions, AI-enabled logistics, and supply chain resilience. 

FAST, which traces its roots to Cebu-based shipping company William Lines Inc., served as a Diamond Sponsor of the event. 

Following its divestment from the shipping business, FAST evolved into a nationwide logistics platform operating one of the Philippines’ most extensive warehousing and transport networks. Today, it serves multinational companies, major Filipino conglomerates, and growing businesses, with logistics operations spanning 94% of Philippine provinces.

One of the summit’s highlights was a presentation by FAST AVP for Customer Revenue Strategy and Digital Transformation Anton Rafael Chiongbian, who underscored Cebu’s importance to FAST’s heritage and nationwide network. 

In his presentation, titled “Powering Cebu’s Economy Through AI-Enabled End-to-End Logistics,” Anton shared FAST’s capabilities across third-party logistics (3PL) or contract logistics, multimodal transportation, warehousing, cold chain, cross-docking, and value-added services or toll manufacturing. 

He also emphasized Cebu’s role as a major market beyond Metro Manila and a strategic gateway to the Visayas and Mindanao. FAST’s facilities in the province — including dry warehouses, cold storage facilities, and transportation and cross-docking hubs — support the movement of goods across the region and help businesses reach markets beyond Cebu. 

FAST Chief Operating Officer for Transport Operations Bobby Lim and Warehousing Business Unit Head Aron Javier also joined Anton during the question-and-answer segment.

They shared insights on advancing digitalization initiatives, emphasizing that technology adoption should focus on improving processes, addressing customer pain points, and delivering better operational outcomes. 

They also highlighted that FAST’s AI tools are designed not to replace people, but to reduce manual tasks and empower employees to focus on more strategic, value-adding activities in their day-to-day operations.
