FAST Logistics recently joined the Visayas and Mindanao Shipping Conference & Exhibit 2023, held on March 2 and 3, 2023 at Waterfront Cebu and Seda Abreeza Davao, respectively.
FAST marked its first participation in the Visayas and Mindanao Shipping Conference & Exhibit 2023, joining other stakeholders from various agencies in the logistics sector.
The event aimed to recognize both regions as emerging major logistics and trade hubs and investment destinations in the Philippines. It highlighted the economic growth of Visayas and Mindanao in the logistics sector while providing stakeholders with the trade and economic outlook for the near and medium term.
The conference & exhibit served as a platform for stakeholders to receive updates on major infrastructure projects in the Visayas and Mindanao regions as well as identify trade and customs facilitation efforts of ports, logistics, and customs agencies. Government entities from various local agencies were present along with non-government representatives from shipping lines, port operators, international trading companies, and more.
The two-day conference & exhibit was organized by PortCalls Asia, a news and data provider for cargo transport and logistics professionals since 1996.
